Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd. is representing a fast-growing international group expanding into the UK market and seeking a Financial Controller to build the finance function for the UK rentals business.

You will report to the CFO, set up processes, controls and month-end routines, and deliver timely accounts with commentary, while leading a small finance team. This hybrid role (3-4 days in-office in Stevenage) requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong Excel and presentation skills, and a

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in motor industry is essential.
• Strong communication across finance, operations, sales and senior management.
• Advanced Excel and presentation skills required.
• Hands-on and strategic mindset, building something new.

Aufgaben

• Set up the finance function for the UK rentals business and align it to group standards.
• Lead the acquisition-enabled finance integration and scale the function.
• Build and mentor a small finance team.
• Develop systems, controls, month-end checklists, and SOPs with Group Finance.
• Deliver accurate month-end accounts with insightful commentary.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts to support growth plans.
