Zusammenfassung

Char.gy, a leading UK EV charging network, seeks a Finance Manager to own month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and internal controls. You will lead the finance team, collaborate with auditors and advisors, and drive process improvements as the business scales across the UK.

The role reports to the Head of Finance, supports cash management and governance, and coordinates with external accountants on contracts and revenue recognition. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven line management experience.
• Strong audit management and coordination skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls.
• Experience in finance system improvement, development or implementation.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Aufgaben

• Own the month-end close process and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the Accountant and Finance Assistant.
• Oversee preparation of annual statutory accounts and external audit end-to-end.
• Manage purchase-to-pay process and revenue ledger, including billing accuracy.
• Oversee VAT, CIS and HMRC tax compliance obligations.
• Act as system administrator, driving finance process improvements.
• Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis to support business performance and wider finance projects.
