Job summary

BMW Group UK is offering a Finance Collections & Recovery placement year in Farnborough, starting July 2027. You’ll be part of the Collections & Recovery Department under Operations, gaining hands-on responsibilities and exposure to four specialist teams.

You’ll engage with stakeholders across the BMW Group Financial Services and related units. We’re looking for a motivated student with a passion for automotive/finance, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive, creative approach.

Qualifications

• Must be studying towards a business-related degree (not strictly required).
• Genuine passion for automotive/finance industries.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use your initiative and manage your own projects autonomously.
• Innovative and creative mindset to help challenge norms within the business.

Responsibilities

• Gain an overview of several business functions and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Assist with organizing process review workshops and follow-up actions, including process mapping.
• Take ownership of a cross-department weekly Change Huddle to drive ideas and change initiatives.
• Support the management and implementation of Business Change Enhancements in Collections & Recovery.
• Collaborate with teams on QA-driven improvement actions.
