Job summary

BMW Group Finance, Farnborough, is offering a Placement Year in Finance Collections & Recovery. You will report to the Process Specialist within Collections & Recovery, gaining exposure across Business Customer Collections, Private Customer Collections, Recovery and Litigation.

This role focuses on process optimisation, project support, training material creation and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across Operations. You must be returning to studies for at least 6 months after placement.

Qualifications

• Studying toward a business-related degree (not prerequisite).
• Strong interest in automotive/finance industries.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Able to use initiative and manage own projects autonomously.
• Innovative mindset dedicated to challenging norms and developing future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing process review workshops and follow-up actions, including process mapping.
• Run a cross-department weekly Change Huddle to generate ideas for change.
• Support management and implementation of Business Change Enhancements raised by and implemented in Collections & Recovery.
• Collaborate with Collections & Recovery teams on QA-driven improvement actions.
• Create training material for Collections & Recovery.
• Support projects, including minute taking for steering committees and management meetings.
• Maintain internal Collections & Recovery Process Management pages.
• Perform other team tasks as required.
