Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a temporary, full-time role based in Lowestoft, with hybrid/remote working options. The post entails leading the annual budget for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and related year-end statements, alongside advising on HRA finances across housing-related services.

The ideal candidate will have HRA experience and CIPFA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications.

Qualifications

• HRA experience is preferred.
• Qualified CIPFA/ACCA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the production of the annual revenue and capital budget for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and the HRA year-end statement.
• Oversee financial management of the HRA housing-related services and provide guidance to Service Managers, Senior Management and Councillors.
• Contribute to progression of corporate initiatives to ensure compliance with financial legislation and statutory requirements.
