Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a large multi-site organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner supporting key operational and cost centres. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant who combines commercial insight and financial analysis to drive performance improvements.

You will report to the Head of Cost Business Partnering and partner with senior operational stakeholders, delivering budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis to guide strategic

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and performance management expertise.
• Experience supporting operational or cost-focused business functions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and support senior leaders.
• Curious approach to understand business drivers and opportunities.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with operational leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and planning activities for designated business areas.
• Delivering insightful management reporting, KPI analysis and performance commentary.
• Providing robust challenge and variance analysis to improve business performance.
• Developing financial models, investment appraisals and business cases.
• Supporting transformation programmes and continuous improvement projects.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and operational performance improvements.
• Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
• Building strong relationships across Finance and the wider business to influence decision-making and drive results.
