Michael Page Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner in Birmingham. The role leads finance partnering, working closely with operations to keep financial planning and performance discussions focused and actionable.

You will partner with leaders to provide clear financial insight, drive value creation, and influence decision-making across the business, while leading planning conversations and challenging assumptions to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide clear financial insight that supports day-to-day and longer-term decisions.
• Provide robust commercial insight and influence decision-making across the business.
• Drive accountability throughout the organisation and ensure decisions are focused on value creation.
• Work collaboratively with commercial teams on contract performance, contract costing and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Lead financial planning conversations, ensuring key assumptions and priorities are understood across the business.
• Challenge financial assumptions constructively to improve the quality of commercial decisions.
• Present financial findings to senior stakeholders in a concise and accessible format.
• Identify areas where financial processes and reporting can be improved to support better decision-making.
