Our client, Enfield Council, is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their Adult Social Care Finance Team.

We are seeking a Business Partner to lead on Adult Social Care finance activities.
The role involves supporting the Head of Finance by providing high-quality, flexible, and professional financial support to service departments.
You will support and deputise for the Head of Finance and Finance Manager, delivering financial support, advice, and guidance to the relevant service areas.
You will lead specific finance tasks supporting the annual financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and closing accounts.
Responsibilities include conducting sensitivity analyses, reviewing and challenging budget decisions, performing options appraisals, and leading detailed calculations for new funding and grants requests.
You will also provide financial input to procurement processes and be responsible for scoring financial sections.
Proactively, you should seek opportunities to improve financial support and identify efficiencies.
We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have excellent data interpretation and analysis skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
Additional requirements include excellent IT and communication skills, experience in analyzing and challenging budget decisions within complex organizations to achieve value-for-money outcomes, and experience in financial modeling and assessing new initiatives and service models.
