Job Description

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that revenue and capital accounting entries underpinning the Statement of Accounts are produced in a timely manner, are accurate, and in accordance with relevant legislative requirements and professional codes of practice and guidelines.
• Producing the Statement of Accounts, Group Accounts, and other related statutory returns.
• Leading on the provision of financial advice and statutory returns relating to taxation and VAT.
• Producing high-level capital monitoring reports in accordance with the timetable.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will hold a full accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA), have knowledge of capital accounting at a local authority, and be comfortable being on-site 3 days a week.
