Role and Responsibilities

Working for the Senior Finance Director, Global Support Functions (GSF), the responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner are two-fold:

1. The Senior Finance Business Partner acts as the primary finance lead to a number of Global Function Heads (Executive Committee members) and their teams by providing high-quality insight, financial analysis, and reporting to support effective decision-making. Supported functions may include Global Finance, Finance Shared Service Centre, People (HR), Communications, and/or Business Development. Building a deep knowledge of these functions is essential to enable value-added support on strategic and financial topics, including transformation initiatives.
2. The role also involves leadership and management of strategic areas with global reach, such as advising on and preparing global Merit, owning financial aspects of external contracts, leading the global budget process, managing Business Cases, tracking Functional Restructuring programs, engaging with third-party providers, and other projects driven by business needs.

The role requires building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, Corporate Controller, and Executive Committee members, and working closely with the Senior Finance Director, GSF. A global-first mindset and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across finance and non-finance teams are critical.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Global Functional Budgets and associated presentations for the CEO & CFO.
• Partner with GSF Function Heads to respond to financial challenges with data-driven options and recommendations.
• Track monthly Actuals vs Budgets for assigned GSFs, ensuring reporting accuracy.
• Develop strong relationships with Function Heads to understand their needs and provide tailored financial support.
• Act as a senior leader within functional teams, offering guidance on business transformations, financial strategies, and initiatives requiring ExCo review.
• Demonstrate agility and independence, managing complex projects and ensuring strategic alignment.
• Serve as the deputy to the team leader when needed, ensuring team objectives are met and issues addressed.
• Manage financial aspects of Mundipharma International Limited (MINT), working with external auditors and developing best practices for global recharges.
