Finance Partner – Region A (West & Oxfordshire)

We’re looking for an experienced, qualified Finance Partner to support 12 academies across Region A (Camberley, Wokingham, Reading, Sunbury, Didcot, Banbury). Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll provide strategic financial leadership, manage a regional finance team, and work closely with Headteachers to ensure effective resource use.

Your Base

This hybrid role combines home working with time at our regional office in Camberley and visits to schools across the cluster.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the regional finance team
• Guide Headteachers and budget holders on financial management
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
• Ensure consistency across school phases

What You Bring

• A recognised accountancy qualification
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• High-level Excel skills and sound accounting system knowledge
• Analytical, deadline-driven, and solution-focused
