About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Assistant to join our growing InfiniteCFO team!

You will work directly with clients on a variety of projects, ensuring accurate records and helping to improve their processes, including through technology implementation.

You should be a great communicator, capable of eliciting necessary information from clients to ensure transactions are correctly processed and helping clients adopt new workflows.

You’ll be based in our Cheltenham office, with the flexibility to work remotely from home and occasional travel for client visits.

Responsibilities
  • Processing sales transactions from sales order to invoice and receipt with high accuracy.
  • Processing purchase transactions from requisition to order, invoice, and payment with high accuracy.
  • Onboarding new clients and implementing standard processes and automation tools as part of a client engagement team.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to develop better operational processes, tools, and continuous improvements for client value and efficiency.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • AAT qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong process orientation with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to translate complex data into understandable messages.
  • Adaptability and pace, with decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
  • Organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
