Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking a Finance AI Engineer to join the UKI Finance RP, delivering production‑grade AI applications in finance processes. You will design, develop and operate agentic workflows, collaborating with finance users and engineering teams to ensure secure, observable solutions that scale across clients.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering discipline with Python and another production language (TypeScript or equivalent).
• Hands-on LLM application development with tool use, structured outputs and retrieval.
• Experience with evaluation, observability and LLMOps/AgentOps.
• Secure enterprise integration including authentication, authorization, secrets and PII-aware design.
• Able to work with finance users translating needs into testable requirements.
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic workflows into live finance processes with clear acceptance criteria, oversight and controlled failure behaviour.
• Implement LLM application patterns including tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Integrate with ERP/EPM systems, repositories and workflow tooling via secure APIs and connectors.
• Write evaluations, instrument agent behaviour, and ensure recoverable failure modes with automated tests and observability.
• Develop interfaces for finance users to review, approve and document agent actions with provenance and clear error-recovery journeys.
• Package and operate solutions using cloud AI services, containers, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with finance users, process specialists, architects and data engineers to clarify requirements and runbooks.
• Contribute reusable patterns and components back to the practice asset base.
