Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking an AI Engineer (Agentic/Applied) to design, build, and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems across the enterprise tech stack. You will collaborate with client engineering teams, lead design sessions, and develop reusable patterns that scale beyond individual engagements.

This role emphasizes hands-on deployment of agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and robust observability in production—driving impact for large client programs and advancing industry

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
• Direct experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) in production code.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern production-grade agentic systems at enterprise scale.
• Define RAG pipeline standards and quality benchmarks.
• Set multi-LLM integration standards across providers.
• Own LLMOps strategy, eval harness design, and observability standards.
• Lead client engineering engagements at senior level and drive architecture sessions.
• Publish reusable patterns, accelerators, and engineering standards.
• Define programme-level AI impact metrics for stakeholders.
• Show strong backend engineering and production debugging capabilities.
