Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Finance AI Engineer to design, build and operate production-grade AI applications for finance processes. You will work with client data from early engagement, translating finance requirements into observable, secure software and scalable automation.

You will collaborate with finance users, process specialists and data engineers to deliver trusted AI capabilities, with focus on reconciliations, journals, exception handling and cost-aware delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering discipline including Python/TS, version control, testing and CI
• Hands-on LLM application development with tool use, structured outputs and retrieval
• Experience with evaluation, observability and MLOps/AgentOps in enterprise settings
• Secure enterprise integration, authentication, authorization, secrets and PII handling
• Ability to translate finance needs into testable requirements for non-technical users
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic workflows in live finance processes with clear acceptance criteria
• Implement LLM patterns including tool calls, structured outputs and retrieval
• Integrate with ERP/EPM systems and secure APIs with proper data handling
• Write evaluations, instrument agent behaviour and ensure observability and cost controls
• Develop interfaces for finance users to review, approve and audit agent actions
• Package and operate solutions using cloud services, containers or serverless infra
• Collaborate with finance users, process specialists and engineers to finalize requirements
• Contribute reusable patterns to the practice asset base
