Job description

K3 is a leading provider of business-critical software solutions focused on fashion and apparel brands and related large retail brands. The Group's solutions comprise a number of applications authored by K3 and also third-party products that have been enriched with K3 software. These solutions provide customers with comprehensive, end-to-end capabilities that enable them to have greater control over their operations and real-time oversight of their businesses. The Group operates through two divisions, K3 Products and Third-party Solutions.

K3 Fashion solutions target the Fashion and Apparel Markets covering Retail, Wholesale, and Manufacturing sectors with our products, K3 Fashion and K3 Pebblestone. We are a Microsoft-recognized Global ISV and both our core products are embedded in and enhance Microsoft's ERP solutions, D365 Finance and Supply Chain, and D365 Business Central, respectively.

K3 is seeking a Finance Administrator to join our K3 Products business unit, located in Bristol, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day transactional finance operations for the K3 Fashion business unit, with support from a finance manager (to be recruited). The role requires experience in processing accounting and ledger transactions, managing ledgers and reconciliations, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Expenses processing including VAT allocation and policy compliance
  2. Purchase invoice processing for the UK & Netherlands and payment runs
  3. Ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations
  4. Creating and maintaining contracts in the finance system
  5. Creating order forms, managing DocuSign and contract processing
  6. Closing opportunities in the CRM system once sales are finalized
  7. Maintaining the Microsoft Licence portal for customer renewals
  8. Processing new orders in the Microsoft Licence portal and managing Fashion Licence renewals
  9. Email communication with partners regarding maintenance renewals
  10. Capitalization of development hours
  11. Cost management and control
  12. Supporting the Finance Manager with accounting for Walton and Unisoft entities
  13. Treasury duties including bank postings and reconciliations
  14. Serving as the primary contact with Barclays for bank account management
  15. Daily cash management to support the K3 Product Finance Manager
  16. Supporting audit processes for UK and Netherlands entities and liaising with audit teams
Requirements:
  1. Part or full AAT qualification, relevant university degree, or equivalent experience
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  3. Basic accounting knowledge
  4. Experience in transactional finance processing and ledger management
  5. Confidence and results-driven attitude
  6. Ability to challenge policy compliance and analyze financial data
  7. Availability to work 3 days in our Bristol office and 2 days remotely or in-office as preferred
