CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES
This position will provide support across a wide range of finance tasks. The holder will assist the finance team in executing daily financial accounting functions at TRAFFIC International, as detailed below.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Finance Support Duties
- Processing purchase invoices, including matching them with purchase orders.
- Updating supplier accounts and sending out remittance advices.
- Checking and processing expense forms.
- Updating PayPal donation records for TRAFFIC.
- Managing the finance email account.
- Supporting bank payment processes.
- Assisting the Financial Services Officer (FSO) with monthly bank reconciliations for TRAFFIC's global bank accounts.
- Supporting the FSO in raising sales invoices and fund requests.
- Helping the finance team with timely submission and approval of timesheets and collating monthly project hours for approval by the Project Support Unit.
- Archiving financial files and related information.
- Analyzing credit card statements and collating supporting receipts.
- Assisting the FSO in updating regional payment schedules and filing supporting documents.
- Performing ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team.
- Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade, as determined from time to time by the Director of Operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a finance role.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in gathering, analyzing, and presenting accurate information.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively within a team.
- Motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently when needed.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
