Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood invites applications for a Final Assembly Intern as part of a 12.5‑month placement commencing July 2027. You will support quality tasks, drive improvements to production processes and assist senior management with project activities.

Join a luxury automotive team to develop problem solving, data interpretation, and CAD/Python skills while contributing to on‑line reporting and continuous improvement across the assembly line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:2 or above).
• Fluent in English; a working knowledge of German would be beneficial.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office, CAD, SharePoint, Python.
• Problem solving, time management and communication demonstrated in university projects or activities.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage production quality tasks; help solve them through active problem-solving activities.
• Analyse and implement improvements to production processes.
• Coordinate and steer senior production management circles on working and project levels.
• Data collation to support reporting and running of the Assembly Line.
• Review, steer and deliver continuous improvement projects within the production environment.
