Job summary

HomeServe is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to join the Hemel Hempstead team. You’ll inspect, repair, and replace water mains, diagnose leaks, lay pipework, and carry out excavation and reinstatement as needed while delivering excellent service in customers’ homes.

You’ll work around 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends, with a competitive salary of £37,220–£41,810 and a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in year one. Prioritise safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience working on water mains (repairs, installation, leak detection).
• Full UK Driving Licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains.
• Laying and replacing pipework.
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required.
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
