Job summary

HomeServe UK is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer in Hemel Hempstead to diagnose and repair leaks, lay and replace pipework, and carry out excavation work. This field-based role involves 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with a salary of £37,220–£41,810 and a £1,500 first-year bonus.

All tools, uniform and PPE are provided, along with ongoing training. You will work independently in customers’ homes, delivering excellent service while representing HomeServe

Qualifications

• Experience repairing leaks and installing water mains.
• Valid UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Ability to work independently on-site and solve problems.
• Positive, proactive approach to field work.
• Experience with excavation and reinstatement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair leaks on water mains.
• Lay and replace pipework.
• Carry out excavation and reinstatement work as required.
• Manage jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Represent HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism.
