Job summary

HomeServe is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer in Northampton to carry out repairs and maintenance on customers’ water supply systems. You’ll diagnose leaks, lay and replace pipework, and manage jobs with independence while delivering exceptional service.

This field-based role offers a competitive package, including a guaranteed £1,500 bonus in year one, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Experience working on water mains (repairs, installation, leak detection).
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains.
• Laying and replacing pipework.
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required.
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care.
