Job summary

Safetykleen in Montrose is seeking a proactive driver to join our Montrose team on Monday to Friday day shifts. You will visit a wide range of customers, collect and exchange waste streams, and build trusted relationships while ensuring compliance and safety.

No prior waste industry experience required; we provide full training and support toward ADR licence. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and use handheld tablets and CRM to manage routes and workload, enjoying career progression

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Valid Class 2 driving licence required.
• Comfortable with traveling to customer sites daily.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete 9-11 customer site visits per day, collecting and exchanging waste streams.
• Safely load and unload drums and containers onto and from your vehicle.
• Build positive relationships with customers across industries.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and customers to meet operational requirements and resolve queries.
• Use handheld tablets and CRM systems to manage your daily route, service delivery and workload.

The Opportunity

Join our Montrose team in a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You'll spend your time out on the road, visiting a wide range of customers and building strong relationships along the way.

Supported by a dedicated local branch team, you'll safely collect and exchange non-hazardous, low-hazardous and hazardous waste streams, while delivering a professional and friendly service. Your work will help our customers stay compliant while contributing to a safer, cleaner environment.

No previous waste industry experience? No problem. We provide full training and will support you in working towards your ADR licence as you develop in the role.

What We're Looking For

• Waste industry experience is not essential - full training will be provided.
