Job summary

Safetykleen in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Bury St Edmunds to join our fulfilment team. This varied role offers daily day shifts, the chance to work hands-on, and opportunities for development within logistics and service functions.

You will handle unloading and loading, stock checks, and ensure accurate stock recording. A forklift/counterbalance licence is required, and you should be comfortable with heavy lifting and independent work when needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift / Counterbalance Licence is required.
• Willingness to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloading & loading of stock including cages and drums of industrial and automotive waste.
• Repacking of drums or containers.
• Checking of compliance sheets.
• Stock management of all branch stock.
• Item arrival and goods receipt processing ensuring stock is recorded correctly.
• Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all areas.
• A great communicator who values teamwork.
• A good self-starter who works independently as required.
