Job summary

Safetykleen is seeking a driver for the Chester team to visit customers and collect/exchange non-hazardous to hazardous waste streams. You will drive across a wide range of sites, build strong relationships, and work with a supportive local branch team to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient service.

No prior waste industry experience is required as full training will be provided, plus you will have opportunities for ADR licence work and career progression within a fast-paced, growth-focused

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licences and willing to drive for visits to customer sites.
• Customer-focused approach with clear communication.
• Full training provided; no waste-industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete 9–11 customer site visits per day to collect and exchange waste streams.
• Safely load/unload drums and containers from the vehicle.
• Build positive relationships across varied industries.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to meet operational needs and resolve queries.
• Utilise handheld tablets and CRM to manage routes and workload.

The Opportunity

Join our Chester team in a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same.

You’ll spend your time out on the road, visiting a wide range of customers and building strong relationships along the way.

Supported by a dedicated local branch team, you’ll safely collect and exchange non-hazardous, low-hazardous and hazardous waste streams, while delivering a professional and friendly service. Your work will help our customers stay compliant while contributing to a safer, cleaner environment.

No previous waste industry experience? No problem. We provide full training and will support you in working towards your ADR licence as you develop in the role.

Job Role

What We're Looking For

• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers and building trusted relationships.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Waste industry experience is not essential - full training will be provided.
