Job summary

RE Recruitment Group is seeking a commercially driven Trade Manager for the fenestration sector, based in the UK with nationwide travel. You will engage merchant branches, boost product visibility and drive sales opportunities across networks.

A competitive basic salary plus a performance-related bonus awaits, with a company car, pension and extensive holiday entitlement. As Trade Manager you will lead branch activation, train merchant teams, organise events and collaborate with regional sales

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the fenestration, double glazing, building products or builders’ merchant industry.
• Experience working with merchant networks, trade counters and branch teams.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver branch activation plans across key merchant networks.
• Build strong relationships with branch managers, trade counter teams and key decision-makers.
• Conduct regular branch visits to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Organise and support trade days, open days, product demonstrations and customer engagement events.
• Deliver engaging product training to merchant teams and their customers.
• Maintain showroom displays and sales tools, and support promotional campaigns.
