Job summary

Atlas Aluminium, the UK’s leading fabricator of Smarts aluminium windows and doors, is seeking a Trade Manager to drive merchant network engagement and branch activation. You will promote Atlas products through merchant branches, deliver product demonstrations, and train branch teams to maximise sales opportunities.

Based in the UK, you will work with Key Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers to develop activation plans, monitor performance, and share market feedback to inform commercial

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fenestration/double glazing, building products, or merchant sector.
• Experience with merchant networks, trade counters and branch teams.
• Understanding of branch development, customer engagement, and trade marketing activities.
• Driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver merchant branch activation plans across designated merchant networks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with branch managers, sales teams, and key decision makers.
• Coordinate branch visits, trade days, open days, product demonstrations, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Deliver product training to merchant branch teams and customers.
• Ensure showroom displays, literature, POS materials, and sales tools are installed and used effectively.
• Monitor branch engagement levels and identify opportunities to improve visibility and activity.
• Support promotional campaigns and new product launches within merchant networks.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to execute strategic account plans at branch level.
• Identify dormant or high-potential branches and develop activation plans to improve performance.
• Monitor and report on branch engagement activity, plans, training delivery, and activation progress.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reporting.
