Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow the local customer base within your designated territory. This field-based role focuses on winning new business, building trust with trade customers, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

You will work with depot colleagues to own growth, manage workload autonomously, and drive sustainable performance through relationships and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Track record of winning new business or working in a target-driven sales role.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated, resilient with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by pro actively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow and manage the account base across your territory in support of each depot’s performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and explain its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing account holders.
