SP Electricity North West is looking for a Field Telemetry Technician to install, maintain and repair RTUs and intelligent devices across the network, enabling real-time monitoring and control as part of our SCADA and automation systems.
You will diagnose faults, configure equipment, analyse telemetry data and work with internal teams and contractors to deliver telemetry projects while upholding safety and quality standards.

At SP Electricity North West, we're transforming the way our network operates as we evolve from a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to a Distribution System Operator (DSO). At the heart of this transformation is the development of a Smart Grid, enabling greater visibility, automation and control across our electricity network.
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Field Telemetry Technician to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the technologies that keep our network running efficiently and reliably.
As a field-based technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) and other intelligent electronic devices that form part of our SCADA and Control Systems. Your work will help deliver real-time monitoring and control of the electricity network, supporting the transition to a smarter, more flexible energy system.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
