SP Electricity North West is seeking a CT Metering Technician to carry out live and dead complex CT metering works across low voltage assets, including substations and link boxes. You will plan, survey, and install CT metering equipment either alone or as part of a two-person team, delivering outputs to a high standard.

As an CT Metering Technician, you will be responsible for delivering all elements of live and dead complex works across all low voltage workstreams, these will include works at substations, link boxes and all relevant distribution assets. Work will be completed in accordance with all technical policies and SPENW’s safe systems of working.
In this role you will undertake independent working tasks such as planning and surveying jobs, while also working closely with a colleague as part of a two-person team to complete CT metering installations and upgrades.
You will be responsible for ensuring all required outputs are delivered to a high customer and client standard, ensuring that SLA’s around delivery timescales are on target. You will work closely with peers, project management, site surveyors, customers, DLO and delivery partners to ensure our work is delivered safe and efficiently.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
