Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Technical Support Manager to strengthen our engineering capability across Service and Operations. This field-based role combines technical coaching with operational support to ensure engineers and subcontractors deliver high standards of service and installation performance.

You will lead training across products, create materials, and collaborate with HR, QA, and safety to maintain competency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Background in field service, engineering, or technical training.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coaching ability across all levels.
• Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance standards.”
• High level of organisation and ability to manage training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance to engineers, managers, and subcontractors across the field.
• Support fault diagnosis, complex repairs, and product issues (remote & on-site).
• Deliver structured training programmes across our product range and competitor equipment.
• Develop training materials, manuals, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing development for engineers and subcontractors with service leaders.
