Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an experienced Field Systems Engineer, based at one of its locations in Mestre, Italy; Trévoux, France; Uxbridge, United Kingdom or Offenbach, Germany. You will provide world-class technical and application support for Danfoss Turbocor compressors within the Cooling division.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers to deliver high-quality support to OEM customers across Europe, requiring strong troubleshooting and customer‑facing skills and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Thermodynamics or a related field is an advantage.
5+ years of experience in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration with Danfoss Turbocor centrifugal compressors.
Strong hands‑on and theoretical knowledge of chillers and refrigeration systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent English.
Willingness to travel across Europe, typically ~25% of time.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and application support to OEM customers and sales teams across Europe.
Act as main technical point of contact for product application, troubleshooting and quality topics.
Analyze compressor and refrigeration system issues and drive structured problem‑solving.
Represent customer voice internally to improve products and support new development.
Plan and conduct customer visits, technical training, and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality and other teams to address challenges.
