Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors is seeking a proactive Process Cooling Engineer to support customers with field-based maintenance and repairs across the South region. You will diagnose faults, install new equipment, and provide clear technical guidance while ensuring safety and compliance with F-Gas regulations.

The role offers autonomy, regular travel to sites, and opportunities to work with advanced refrigeration technologies, pumps, and heat exchangers, contributing to reliable, efficient process

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical service roles.
• Background in refrigeration/thermal systems and chillers.
• F-Gas regulated environment experience or willingness to certify.
• Full UK driving licence (or international within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on process cooling equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults related to chiller performance.
• Install, commission and start up new equipment.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Provide customers with clear technical advice and proactive support.
• Ensure safety standards and F-Gas regulations are followed.
• Promote safe working practices and use PPE.
• Stay up to date with refrigeration controls and automation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge across the team.
• Support occasional overtime or emergency call-outs when required.
