Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Field Support Supervisor for Clacton-on-Sea to lead a care team and ensure high standards of support across the service.

You will develop person-centred plans, conduct assessments, mentor new staff, support on-call rota, and collaborate with professionals to help people live more independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or care management role.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, complex mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviours and traumatic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and leading a team of care colleagues.
• Developing and implementing person-centred support plans.
• Conducting care needs assessments.
• Inducting, mentoring and supporting new team members.
• Completing supervisions, appraisals and competency assessments.
• Undertaking medication competencies and medication audits.
• Attending multi-disciplinary meetings and liaising with professionals.
• Completing reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the service alongside the management team.
• Regularly spending time with the people we support to ensure they are achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Field Support Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team at our Clacton on sea services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about making a real difference to people's lives. You'll play a key role in supporting both the people we support and the colleagues who deliver outstanding care every day.

As a Field Support Supervisor, you'll work closely with the management team to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained across the service.

Your responsibilities will include:

You may also be required to participate in the on-call rota, subject to the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with both the right experience and the right values.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or care management role
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting individuals with:
  • Autism
  • Learning disabilities
  • Complex mental health needs
  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Challenging behaviours
  • Traumatic backgrounds
