Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Fieldcare Supervisor to oversee three services in Christchurch and Shillingstone. You will lead a dedicated team, develop and monitor person-centred plans, and ensure high-quality support for our people.

A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification and experience with autism or complex needs are required. Role involves on-call duties and day-to-day management support, with a focus on improving independence and quality of life for those we support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care management role
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience with autism, brain injury, complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to support people to gain independence
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans
• Conduct care needs assessments, inductions and supervisions/appraisals
• Complete medication competencies and audits, attend multi-disciplinary meetings
• Produce reports and support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations
• Participate in on-call rota as required

Fieldcare Supervisor – Covering 3 services in Christchurch and Shillingstone

Pay : £16.33 per hour plus mileage

Hours - Predominantly working Monday to Friday between 8am -5pm but you must be flexible -37.5 hours per week

Fieldcare Supervisors with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our community service teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Field Support Supervisor to join us in leading our supported living services in Christchurch and Shillingstone. The services are a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Our Fieldcare Supervisors will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives. You could be developing and implementing person centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, inducting new colleagues, completing supervisions/appraisals, completing medication competencies and medication audits, attending mutli-disciplinary meetings, completing reports and generally assisting the Branch Manager in the day-to-day management of our services. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Field Support Supervisors regularly visit their services and spend time with the people we support.

You will also take part in the on-call rota (although this may be subject to change depending on the needs of the service).

We’re interested in our Fieldcare Supervisors having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Fieldcare Supervisors should have previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
