Job summary

Lucid Connect Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Field Services Engineer to deliver on-site and remote IT support across Windows OS and Microsoft 365. You will own incidents end-to-end, provide regular updates, and work across multi-vendor environments while aligning with ITIL practices.

Travel to customer sites is required with hotels provided where needed. You will join a diverse IT team and contribute to continuous improvement, with opportunities for training and development in enterprise IT

Qualifications

• Experience in field support for IT hardware/software environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads with prioritisation.
• Customer-focused approach with service excellence.
• Experience in a complex enterprise IT environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
• Experience supporting multi-vendor hardware and software.
• Experience handling escalations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Undertake work to support IT team objectives per customer processes.
• Promote IT team profile and share knowledge in meetings.
• Participate in internal meetings to share best practices.
• Take end-to-end ownership of incidents and service requests.
• Provide regular status updates on open tickets.
• Build strong relationships with business users to meet service delivery.
• Maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate and resolve desktop issues to ensure business continuity.
• Assess issues and escalate to 3rd Line as needed.
• Support team objectives and colleagues in achieving goals.
