Job summary

Lucid Support Services Ltd is seeking a Field Services Engineer Technician to provide on-site IT support, covering Windows environments and Microsoft 365, with a focus on strong customer service.

The role involves handling incidents end-to-end, working across enterprise IT environments, and travel with hotel stays as required, within the stated service levels. Full-time permanent position based in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Field Support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple workloads effectively.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.
• Approachable and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents and service requests end-to-end to ensure problems are resolved.
• Provide regular status updates on open tickets.
• Build and maintain relationships with business users to ensure service delivery.
• Positively promote the IT Team and share knowledge/best practices.
• Attend internal meetings to discuss and develop knowledge and practices.
• Investigate and resolve issues and escalate to the 3rd Line Team when needed.
• Support others in the team to achieve objectives.
• Investigate desktop issues to ensure business continuity.
• Escalate complex issues for higher-level resolution.
• Provide on-site support and travel as required.
