Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, service and repair our industrial marking equipment across the South Yorkshire region, with onsite work in Sheffield. You will build strong customer relationships and deliver first-class service.

The role requires hands-on Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting, a full UK driving license, and the ability to travel regionally and nationally for trainings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of our equipment.
• Perform training, both internally and externally where needed.
• Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value), reverse flow, billing block code, billing request confirmation.
• Actively promote MI service products to our customers.
• Travel to customers site within your regional area along with occasional travel nationally to attend training events and meetings.
• Build strong relationships with our customers by delivering first class customer service.
• Attend technical training to continuously develop product knowledge and skills.
