Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join the Service Management team in the North Region. You will oversee scheduling, training quality, and productivity of field service technicians and internal teams to drive growth and operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of dental equipment, and a track record in service management, planning, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven business experience in a service management function including financial and personnel management.
• Technical background with ability to understand electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment; essential in the dental industry.
• Experience installing and repairing dental equipment (3–5 years).
• Management training / project management training.
• Understand plans, specifications, submittals and other documents from the customer.
• Ability to work with field engineering, technical support and project managers to develop solutions, proposals, submittals and quotes for industry projects.

Responsibilities

• Field Service Team: oversee inspections, in-progress work, quality and productivity assessments, spot checks.
• Product & Complaint Liability Management: implement and report on product liability issues and quality concerns for field activities.
• Supplier Management: coordinate field service activities and other technical members.
• Customer Service Accountability: maintain high standards of installation and service for customer satisfaction.
• New Product Development Accountability: ensure operational readiness for field service through training and knowledge sharing.
• Support of Other Departments Accountability: provide technical support and build relationships with Field Manager North for consistent management.
• Administrative Accountability: coach and train TSMs and staff, ensure compliance with health and safety, manage workshop assets.
