Job summary

Kornit Digital is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installations, maintenance and service for Kornit systems across the UK with a focus on the Birmingham area. You will train operators, perform routine maintenance, and provide first-line remote and on-site support to customers.

The role requires strong electro-mechanical technical skills, fluency in English, and a willingness to travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in field engineering positions, servicing complex electro-mechanical devices.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time (including overseas).
• UK driving licence; based in the UK; relocation/visa not supported.
• Fluent English; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations and verify functionality of Kornit systems per factory standards.
• Deliver training to print operators and maintenance staff on machine operation and maintenance.
• Perform general maintenance, configuration and adjustment per manuals.
• Provide first-level support to customers via phone/remote tools; remote access and log retrieval.
• Participate in support hotline coverage and extended hours as scheduled.
• Document activities in Salesforce or approved systems; liaise with Service Coordinator.
• Escalate cases to Technical/Service Manager with IFRs, COIs, images or videos.
• Promote Kornit service offerings and maintenance programs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
