Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Surgical Workflows to support sites along the M62 corridor from Manchester to Leeds. The role focuses on routine servicing and validation of Getinge products, maintaining strong customer relations, and ensuring safe, compliant operation of medical equipment.

The position requires hands-on engineering skills, problem-solving ability, and flexibility to travel within the territory, while upholding Getinge's high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience servicing and validating automated endoscopy reprocessors to required standards.
• Maintenance experience in medical, pharmaceutical or process industry environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing of medical equipment.
• Perform routine validation of equipment per client contracts.
• Fault finding on electrical/mechanical systems and calibrations as needed.
• Maintain stock levels of spare parts and produce quality documentation.
• Communicate regularly with the Service Department and report faults promptly.
• Provide sales leads to the Service/Sales Manager.
