Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for scientific optical lasers to service, install, repair and calibrate high-value laboratory systems across pharmaceutical and research environments.

You will work in a hands-on role, travelling to client sites, applying your electronics background and calibration skills, with full product training provided to adapt to diverse diagnostic instruments.

Qualifications

• Field service/technical support background with high value capital equipment and electronics qualification.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, labs, pharma or high value electro-mechanical equipment.
• Full product training will be provided and candidates from related fields will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, repair and calibrate a wide range of scientific and laboratory systems.
• Travel to laboratories and pharmaceutical environments to service equipment.
• Provide customer-focused field service with high attention to quality and safety.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific and laboratory systems, utilised within laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Scientific Optical Lasers

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment
• Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
