Job summary

TRS Consulting in Wolverhampton is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Laboratory X-Ray Systems to service, install, repair and calibrate sophisticated analytical equipment at customer sites. You will travel to client locations and work in laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

Qualifications

• Background as a field service engineer with experience on high value capital equipment.
• Qualification in electronics or equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems or scientific equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, perform breakdown repairs and calibration of laboratory X-ray systems.
• Work with customers in laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.
• Provide responsive on-site support and contribute to commissioning and servicing activities.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific and laboratory systems, utilised within laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

Your Background

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment
• Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
