Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and calibrate sophisticated optical laser and laboratory systems in pharmaceutical and research environments. You will manage installation, breakdown repair and routine servicing, ensuring high reliability for critical instruments.

The role requires a strong electronics background with experience on high-value capital equipment; full product training is provided, and travel to customer sites is expected as part of the service coverage.

• Background as field service/technical support engineer on high value capital equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems or pharmaceutical equipment.
• Full product training will be provided.

Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Scientific Optical Lasers

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment
• Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
