Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, install, repair and calibrate laboratory X-ray systems across customer sites in the UK. You will work on high-value scientific equipment, often in pharmaceutical or research environments, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a strong electronics background and hands-on experience with complex diagnostic systems. A company car, healthcare, and contributory pension are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Competent background as field service engineer with extensive experience on high value capital equipment.
• Qualification in electronics or related field.
• Experience with service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of laboratory systems.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific and laboratory systems, utilised within laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

Your Background

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment
• Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
