Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to service, install, and calibrate a range of sophisticated scientific optical laser systems in laboratories and pharmaceutical environments. You will diagnose faults, perform on-site repairs and ensure equipment operates to specification.

The role demands a background in field service with electronics qualifications, and the ability to manage customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience of working on high value capital equipment.
• Qualification in electronics is required.
• Experience with diagnostic systems or laboratory/pharma equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of scientific/laboratory systems.
• Travel to client sites to perform routine maintenance and calibrations.
• Provide technical support and on-site troubleshooting.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific and laboratory systems, utilised within laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment

Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
