Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and install rotating electrical equipment across the UK. In this field-based role you will cover the UK in a provided van alongside another engineer, with training through the internal academy and opportunities to progress to Lead Engineer.

You'll work on generators, motors, alternators and transformers, with Monday–Friday hours 8:00–16:30, overtime paid at 1.5x and an expected travel pattern of 2–3 nights away per

Qualifications

• Experience servicing electrical rotating equipment.
• Proficient with generators, motors and transformers.
• Willing to travel UK and stay away 2–3 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining electrical rotating equipment.
• Repairing and installing generators, motors and transformers.
• Traveling across the UK in a provided van.
• Working Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x (up to 10 hours per week).
