Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Field Service Engineer (Electrical) in Leicester to join a market-leading team. The role involves servicing electrical rotating equipment, working with generators, motors and transformers, and receiving extensive training in-house.

You will cover the UK in a provided van, typically 2–3 nights away each week, Monday to Friday 8am–4:30pm, with overtime at 1.5x. A strong electrical background and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience required.
• Willingness to travel UK with a provided van.
• Experience with generators, alternators, motors.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a range of electrical rotating equipment.
• Work on generators, alternators, motors with training provided.
• Travel across the UK in a provided van; 2/3 nights away weekly.
• Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:30; 40 hours per week; overtime paid at 1.5x.
