Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Service Engineer (Electrical / Rotating Equipment) to cover the UK in a provided van. You will service, repair and install generators, motors and related equipment, with full in-house training and a clear path to progress to a Lead Engineer.

The role offers a competitive salary, company van, profit share bonus and a 5% pension scheme, with potential for overtime and nationwide duties.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining rotating equipment.
• Solid electrical systems knowledge for generators, motors and transformers.
• Willing to travel UK with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining electrical rotating equipment.
• Working on generators, alternators and motors.
• Covering the UK in a provided van with 2–3 nights away per week.
• On-site work Monday to Friday, 40 hours; overtime paid at 1.5x.
