Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Field Service Engineer based within 40 minutes of Oakham with nationwide travel across hospitals, power stations, waste sites, water treatment works and data centres. You will fault-find, test, maintain and repair large industrial alternators and rotating electrical equipment, with 2-3 nights away per week and overtime paid at 1.5x.

• Strong electrical and mechanical background.
• Experience with generators, alternators, motors, transformers or rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding, testing, maintaining and repairing substantial rotating equipment across the UK.
• Turn up, diagnose issues, and get it fixed.
• Travel nationwide with occasional nights away.
