Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and install rotating electrical equipment across the UK. In this field-based role you will cover the UK in a provided van alongside another engineer, with training through the internal academy and opportunities to progress to Lead Engineer.

You'll work on generators, motors, alternators and transformers, with Monday–Friday hours 8:00–16:30, overtime paid at 1.5x and an expected travel pattern of 2–3 nights away per

Are you a Service Engineer with experience working on rotating equipment looking to join a rapdily expanding company, offering plenty of internal training on bespoke electrical systems and clear scope to progress to a Lead Engineer, working for a market-leading manufacturer?

In this field-based role you will be covering the UK in a provided van working with another Engineer to service, repair and install generators, motors, transformers and related equipment. You will receive further training through the internal academy, then assisting in the local workshop when needed.

Founded 15 years ago, this company have grown exponentially over recent years and are now looking to add to their team to continue their expansion. They repair, service and maintain a range of rotating equipment across the UK and overseas within Rail, Healthcare, Schools, and Data Centres for example.

This role would suit a Service Engineer who has worked on motors, generators, alternators, or similar looking to join a market-leading company offering plenty of personal development.

The Role:

• Servicing and maintaining a range of electrical rotating equipment
• Working on generators, alternators, motors and similar
• Full inhouse training given on specific equipment
• Covering the UK in a provided van, average of 2/3 nights away a week
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, 40 hours a week
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, can be up to 10 hours per week
